Nordic Spirit

Snus pouches are available here in Canada, and Manitoba is one of the only provinces where you can purchase Nordic Spirit snus. We have two flavours - Nova and Luma - available here at Cold Turkey, in 6 mg and 9 mg nicotine concentrations.

Key Features

Snus are a type of tobacco product that originated in Sweden. Powdered nicotine is placed under the lip to be absorbed through the lip and gums. White snus, like Nordic Spirit, is primarily nicotine powder with very little tobacco.

You might see other websites advertising that Nordic Spirit pouches are tobacco-free; those websites are wrong. Under Canadian regulations, to be marketed and regulated as a tobacco product, a product must contain some tobacco. The Nordic Spirit white snus that we carry has the minimum amount of tobacco required to be sold under these regulations. It’s still considered a white snus product because of its high nicotine to tobacco ratio.

Most users choose to place snus in their upper lip, though lower lip placement is an option. Placing your snus in your lower lip can lead to more movement; your lower lip is also closer to your salivary glands, so the package is more likely to get wet faster. 

The nicotine content of these pouches varies from 6 mg to 9 mg; both flavours we offer are available in either nicotine strength. The lower nicotine content pouches are Nova and Luma; the higher content pouches are Nova Plus and Luma Plus.
